Pollution of the Great lakes
POLLUTION OF THE GREAT LAKES
One of Canada's great environmental concerns is the pollution of the Great Lakes. The causes of this are waste dumping run-off and acid rain. Most power plants and factories put their trash into the Great Lakes. Run-offs are caused when after a heavy rain, water washes all the trash and garbage and chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides into the lakes, causing more pollution to our beloved Lakes. Acid rain rains down from above, further poisoning the Great Lakes.
